Ontario Teacher Educators in the Arts

Our Mandate (Drafted 2007):

To facilitate the sharing of information, research, and resources amongst Ontario arts educators who focus on teacher education
To foster communication and relationships between post-secondary arts educators working in higher education, government, school and community settings
To develop strategies for improving both teacher education in the arts and the delivery of the arts curriculum in Ontario Schools
To support the work in and amongst the arts subject associations (OSEA, OMEA, and CODE)
To advocate for the importance of arts education and its continued improvement in schools, universities and other community settings
